B.R.A.I.N. Celebrates Expansion Grand Opening

Dear BRAIN Friends,

Saturday, August 29, 2026, was a total blessing for all of us here at B.R.A.I.N. It was our Grand Opening of our new expanded facility where more people can receive therapy. We planned but we continued to be surprised at the turnout on such a hot day in Cypress! Who knew that our mayor of Cypress had a schedule change and was unable to attend, yet we were blessed with council member, Bonnie Peat and her husband Jon, who are also donors to B.R.A.I.N. and use our facilities to address their own son’s injuries.

We all enjoyed the great food from Tacos Garcia, yet who knew we would have more than the 100 people we planned for? Thank you, Ricardo! Who knew it would be the hottest day of the year and yet we were blessed by a shaved ice machine. Thank you, Vicki! And we must not forget the awesome D.J. music that O.C. Sound provided. Thank you, Steve, Raul and Estaban. 
We had donors, board members, therapists, survivors and family friends all together here enjoying one another, working together for a common goal, to help those who have survived a brain injury get their lives back.

Who knew that the Grand Opening would be such a success?
