Volunteer Highlight: Rachel Obstfeld
Hi! For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Rachel. I started volunteering at F.B.I and the Cognitive Fitness class in August of 2018. This month, I also began helping out with the Let’s Talk group. I found out about B.R.A.I.N. through Angela when I volunteered at Champan’s adult clinic a few years ago. In 2017, I graduated with a degree in psychology from Tulane University in New Orleans, and I hope to begin my graduate studies in speech-language pathology next year! Outside of B.R.A.I.N., I love to sing, play with my dog, Libby, embroider, and learn new languages. I’m currently learning Hindi and Spanish, so if you speak either of those languages, I’d love to practice with you. I have learned so much, met so many incredible people, and had a truly wonderful experience so far at B.R.A.I.N. I’m honored to be a member of the B.R.A.I.N. family!
